This week we had a very important visitor come to our nursery and he wrote the children a letter...
"My name is Spoty Hat and I'm a woodland elf.
I've travelled in the forests all around the world and now I'm here in London.
My job is to look after the trees, plants, flowers, birds, bugs and other creatures in the area.
Now I'm looking after The Woodland Nursery but I would really need some help with looking after other places like your garden or plants.
I can see you are very kind and helpful children and I'm sure you would like to help me.
I need you to make a woodland elf to look after your garden or plants.
You can give him a name too.
He will help me with my job as he will come and tell me if everything is ok in other places where I cannot go.
I'm really looking forward to meeting your elf.
